Dot tuned up on the bus at ten past six on Thursday, in the car park behind the Cardiff arena, and I heard her from the bunks and knew what it meant before I’d got my boots on.
She’d said in Dublin that I’d know when she was ready because I’d hear her tuning first, and I’ve known Dot four years, and she doesn’t tune on a bus.
