There are two versions of the three weeks after Como. I lived one of them. I have the other in a green folder on the table in front of me, because I asked Venturini for the file in January and he gave me all of it, correspondence included, on the grounds that it is my loan account and always was.
I am going to put them down together, in order, which is not remotely how I found out. I have thought about telling it the way it happened to me and letting you arrive where I arrived. But I have spent two years having things arranged so that I would come to them in the right condition, and I am not going to do it to you.
